About the Author
Haley Delaney MSN, RN, MED-SURG BC, is the Epilepsy Surgery Nurse Coordinator for WVU Medicine Children’s Neuroscience Center.
Haley graduated from Waynesburg University in 2017 with her Bachelor’s degree and then again in 2023 with her Master’s degree. Haley has spent her career at WVUH. Her first couple years of nursing were at the bedside on an adult inpatient medical-surgical unit where she obtained her Medical-Surgical Certification. She then transitioned into leadership and spent a few years serving as a nightshift supervisor. Haley transitioned to her current role in June 2024. Since coming into this new role, she has joined the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and the Association of Child Neurology Nurses. She has completed the Seizure and Epilepsy Certificate Program and attended the Vagus Nerve Stimulator Masterclass. She is also involved in upcoming Quality Improvement Projects. Haley is constantly striving to expand her knowledge to better serve the children of West Virginia.
