Miranda Nuzum, MSN, RN, CCRN, CFRN, NE-BC, is the assistant vice president of nursing operations at WVU Medicine Children’s.
She is a nurse leader who works closely with all staff, helping to uphold the highest standards of patient care and advance the mission of improving the health of children and families in our region.
Nuzum received her nursing degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She then continued her education at California University of Pennsylvania, earning a master’s in nursing. Nuzum will soon complete her Doctor of Nursing.
WVU Medicine has been part of Nuzum’s professional career for many years. She began working for WVU Hospitals as a charge nurse in 2001. After working as a flight nurse for several years, Nuzum continued to advance as part of WVU Medicine. She held positions as a house supervisor, medical ICU nursing supervisor, and surgical ICU nurse manager.
Most recently, Nuzum served as the director of nursing at WVU Medicine Children’s.
